About Me
I remember picking up my first camera around the age of 3 or 4. It was my dad's bright yellow underwater film camera he'd used for snorkeling. I begged him to let me take it in the pool so I could use it too. While I was never able to take pictures on it in the pool I was able to use it at Sea World. Enter photography passion. I can't remember a time without a camera. Whether it was my mom's Vivitar, my own disposables, toy cameras, I always had one handy. I used to pose my baby sister in my clothes and we'd have "fashion shoots." My best friend and I would act out stories in front of the camera and take "modeling" shots of each other wearing bright red lipstick. I've "accidentally" put those pictures in storage. Under a lot of boxes.
I unfortunately didn't begin taking photography too seriously until my trusty point and shoot got sand in the lens and broke. A few days later and I was having full blown anxiety from not being able to take pictures. It was a blessing in disguise because I immersed myself in everything camera and photography, saved up, bought a brand new DSLR and the very next day landed my first gig shooting an amazing concert.
Fast forward and here we are! I've fallen in love with capturing people in love and getting those amazing moments of talented musicians on stage.
About You
You're fun. You enjoy laughing at your own jokes and making goofy faces in the mirror. You cherish memories caught on film and can't wait to frolic in the sun in front of the camera. Well, maybe you can. And that's OK because it's my job to help you feel comfortable so I can capture those happy moments and I can't wait to meet you!
